The ModelAnt util package contains tasks and macros, organized in three separate AntLib definition files:
The tasks from util package could be used independently of the other ModelAnt packages as an extension of Apache Ant 1.7.1 or earlier versions. All they are packaged in modelant-util.jar, which depends only on Apache Ant libraries. Thus, it is enough to put modelant-util.jar in Ant’s classpath in order to use all these tasks and macros.
Note that ModelAnt is not compatible with Apache Ant 1.8.x, 1.9.x because of the implemented and vastly used <local> task. The latest (re)design of Ant provides its own <local> task with different semantics.
